Q: What type of emails will this be useful for?
We think this is useful for any message you want to be read: a promotional email, a transactional update, an account credit, or anything else. If you want to be sure your message will be seen you have to craft a compelling subject line - and that's what we can help you do.
Q: How long does it take to get my results?
As you as you click 'Go' your potential email subject lines are put live to the testing participants. Depending on the number of answers you are looking for, it can take between 4 and 40 minutes to get your final results. You can see the answers as they are given on a live dashboard, but we will also send you an email as soon as the results are finalised.
Q: What questions can I get answered?
The default question is "which of these email subject lines would you be most likely to open" but you can also ask several other questions, including around testing the sentiment and comprehension of a specific email subject line.
Q: Whereabouts are the people who answer located?
At the moment we support getting answers mostly from people in the USA, UK, Australia and Canada. We are looking to add even more countries in future. Please do bear in mind that the speed of your answers will very by how many people are available to give you feedback in each country; for the fastest results, choose to get answers mostly from the USA. Please also bear in mind that due to the global nature of the internet we can't guarantee every single one of the responses you recieve will be from people in the country you choose (but typically at least 80%-90% will be.)
Q: Can I ask a certain demographic of respondents? (Age, gender etc...)
Absolutely! Once your answers start coming in, you can filter them by gender and age group so you can get the most similar possible results for your email's likely target audience.
Q: How many answers do I need to get for each test?
It's up to you - the more answers you request, the more reliable the final outcome. We recommend you get at least 20 answers to test your email subject lines with the tool.
Q: How much does this cost?
We have several simple pricing plans - there's no commitment and no long contracts. Each month your account is active you'll get a certain number of credits, each of which corresponds to one person's opinion on one potential subject line; to make it easy to get started, your first task with 10 participants is completely free.
Q: Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel my plan?
Absolutely, yes! You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan at any time.
Your first 10 answers are free, and no credit card is required.
Once you have signed up to a plan, you can upgrade your package at any time. When you upgrade, you'll be charged the cost difference between your prior and new plans. Once payment is made, you'll instantly get the credits for additional answers. Your next monthly bill will be at the new price.
If you choose to downgrade your plan, this will be effective as of your next billing date. You will be able to use any remaining credits for answers until then.
We hope you won't want to cancel, but you can do this at any time. In this case your subscription will run out at the end of the current billing cycle. Until that point, you will be able to use any remaining credits for answers, and if you change your mind you can always resume.
To make any changes to your plan, once you're signed in simply choose 'My Settings' from the menu toggled by clicking your name at the top right.
Q: Can I update the card details for my account?
Yes. To make changes once you're signed in, go to the 'My Settings' page from the menu toggled by clicking your name at the top right, and click the 'Update' button alongside your subscription.
